1. Get the latest build or build from source
  2. Configure the web.config
    1. DB connection string (EntityDB)
    2. Set the "WebAppRootUrl" app setting to point to the base address of the application
    3. Set the "admin" app setting to the email address of your administrator account. *The account will be created with password the same as the email address.
    4. Set up the "emailNotification" section by setting "smtpServer", "smtpPort" and "from" attributes. If your smtp needs authentication, you can specify two additional parameters: "user" and "pass". *For development purposes you can use
    5. Set up the "fileService" section by specifying "permanentStoragePath" attribute to point to the folder where uploads will be saved. After that you must specify the allowed file extensions if the defaulds don't suit you.
    6. Set up the installer's creds in the app setting "Installer". You can use the provided defaults.
    7. Lastly, you can overwrite the default logs location by setting up the "LogsDirectory" app setting with value the path to your desired folder.
  3. Go to "<root>/System/", where "<root>" is your application's root url. There you can use the intaller's creds to login to the dashboard.
  4. In the dashboard, install all the needed modules. I suggest installing all of them and then hit upgrade. If everything is setup correctly, you will se a detailed log of upgrade actions when the upgrade finishes.
