Release Notes

Application Changes

  • Build-in administrator's email now configurable.
  • Default values for relation's properties were not taking effect until now.
  • Future or past date validation added on datepickers
  • Notification templates: the admin is now capable of changing the templates for the messages sent to users. This includes notifications for completed payment, completed query and etc. She can even include contextual information, specific for each event. The contextual information is a number of entities, referred to with keys, e.g. "Customer", and the properties of this entities can be included in the text of the notification by specifying the key and the property, surrounded by curly brackets, e.g. "{Customer.FirstName}", "{Customer.PhoneNumber}", etc (quotation marks are included only for clarity).
  • When a librarian tries to cancel a query (not reject, but cancel it) a confirmation popup is displayed.
  • Autocomplete edit control is added. When there is a need to attach relations to entity types with thousands of items (e.g. Users) the admin can configure the form to use Autocomplete instead of Selectlist. That way the user will have to type two letters in order to see a shortlist of items to pick from.
  • Sorting of selectlists is fixed: normal entities (e.g. users, magazines, etc.) will be sorted alphabetically, whereas nomenlcatures (e.g. languages, departments, etc.) will be sorted by display order.

Dashboard Changes

  • Added module dependencies. Each module has defined dependencies on other modules, i.e. every dependency must be installed/upgraded or marked for install/upgrade before installing the desired module.
  • Security improved (refactored authentication).
